Science Instructor * Under the direction of Science Program Manager and Coordinator, the Science Instructor utilizes appropriate teaching skills and strategies to promote each student’s knowledge, awareness, and appreciation of science content. This position requires Instructors to work as a team to provide an educational experience for students that they will remember for a lifetime. * Ocean Institute is looking for passionate candidates that are willing to push themselves and want to make a positive impact on thousands of students from all over California. Applicants must love working in a team environment with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for all our students and guests. * Ocean Institute’s ideal candidate possesses or is in pursuit of a degree of higher education in history, education, theater, relevant fields, and/or equivalent experience. Applicants must be willing to work overnights, day shifts, as well as overnight/multiday sailing experiences with students to Catalina Island.
