We are interested in candidates whose research, teaching and service commitments contribute to expanding the learning opportunities of minoritized communities in the areas of environmental and climate change literacy education, and who recognize as an imperative the centrality of environmental and racial justice in approaching climate change education. We welcome applicants from any disciplinary perspective and methodological tradition, whose scholarship focuses on environmental and climate change education and who can work collaboratively with faculty working in diverse areas including teacher education, education policy, climate science and the environment and society. A successful candidate will have experience and/or interest in engaging with local partnerships, higher education colleagues and K-12 educators to promote effective climate change education in California, which can serve as a model for other states and countries.
