Appointment of a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Strategy and/or International Business
The Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) Group is now seeking to appoint two individuals as Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) with
research interests in Strategy and/or International Business. The ideal candidate will possess, or be close to completion of, a PhD in in the area of Strategy, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, or a related discipline, and should have
a strong academic background, and demonstrate the ability to publish in the highest quality academic outlets.
Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate a successful teaching track record commensurate with the post as they will teach on undergraduate and/or postgraduate
programmes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with the ability and enthusiasm to enhance student experience are required skills for the post-holder. Knowledge
of the particular needs of international students would be an advantage. Ability to guide and supervise students’ independent learning is also an important requirement.
Appointment of a Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Associate Professor) in Strategy and/or International Business (Teaching Track)
The Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship Subject Group is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) on a Teaching and Scholarship (T&S)
Track to contribute to teaching and learning within the subject areas of Strategy and/or International Business, to be delivered on-site at the Liverpool campus.
Candidates will possess a PhD in the area of Strategy, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, or cognate areas of Management and Organization Studies.
Candidates are expected to have significant relevant experience of teaching, designing and managing courses in the above-mentioned subject areas, and a track record in scholarship.
Candidates should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with the ability and enthusiasm to enhance student experience. Knowledge of the
particular needs of international students would be an advantage. Ability to guide and supervise students’ independent learning is also an important requirement.
