We would like to point your attention to an upcoming UNCTAD-WAIPA Session on “Promoting investment in SDGs: Repurposing capital” that will take place at the World Economic Forum in Davos  on January 17, 2023 from 15:45 – 16:45 hrs. The event will be in Dome C, Ice Village, Davos-Klosters but can also be followed online. The session will connect Investment Promotion Agreements, investible projects, Institutional Investors and the World Investment for Development Alliance (WIDA), offering a path to nations for helping achieving SDG goals. It will feature the launch of a new UNCTAD-WAIPA initiative focused on capacity building and aligning the IPA world with investible projects and institutional investors, as well as short video interventions by the leaders of the key WIDA partners including AIB.
The World Investment for Development Alliance (WIDA) is a global platform dedicated to promoting investment for sustainable development.
