Introduction

The post-pandemic era has created extensive disruptions in many areas of business and society that are easily verified. Such disruptions have certainly extended to the human resources management function that was already experiencing labor shortages and other challenges in the USA and elsewhere before 2020. This publication examines the disruptions in-depth and their influences as they relate to the current hiring, effective retention, engagement, and productivity of available talent in an era of growing global skills gaps and a rapidly ageing world population within the context of a multigenerational workforce.

Objective

The purpose of this publication is to provide a holistic perspective of how the global landscape has changed with regards to effective human resources management in the post-pandemic world, and the resulting effect on employee engagement and productivity within a multigenerational workforce.

Target Audience

The primary target audience for this publication is scholar-practitioners who require a contemporary resource for their work in the human resource management sphere. The secondary target audience is graduate students who seek the same holistic resource.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or beforeMarch 15, 2023, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified byMarch 29, 2023about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted byJuly 13, 2023, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions athttps://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Enhancing Employee Engagement and Productivity in the Post-Pandemic Multigenerational Workforce. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.

All proposals should be submitted through the eEditorial Discovery®online submission manager.
