Pay: $16- 18 per hour (~$33,280- $37,440 per year) What youll do: Work in production from live feeds, to larval fish care, to grow out and broodstock. While each team member has a core responsibility, we cross train all staff across the farm. Daily checks, cleaning and system maintenance Data recording including assisting on research projects we may be conducting on site. Grading, Packing, and moving fish. What were looking for: The ideal candidate will have a degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, or related field, but this is not a requirement if you can prove your passion for the field and science. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, production environment Ability to work professionally and responsibly Ability to be trained, follow complex instructions, and work independently. Multitasking and attention to detail is a must Ability to standing all day on your feet Must be able to lift 50lbs. Work hours: After a training period, technicians work 5 days a week, mostly 9am to 5pm, and are expected to work weekends and holidays on rotation. Experience: Prefer at least one year in fish husbandry, algae culture, or live feeds.
