 MOFFA Organic Intensives are less than a month away

MOFFA Organic Intensives A Day Long Workshop Come see this season’s exciting line up of speakers and topics chosen for their relevance in today’s agricultural climate! Keeping Outside the Box: A Comprehensive Understanding of Sustainable Beekeeping in Today’s Declining Environment High Costs and Supply Scares of Nutrients: Strategies for Overcoming Organic Crop Fertility Challenges Diverse, Vigorous, and Hardy Fruits and Nuts: Native and Beyond   For 2023 breakfast and lunch will be catered by Peoples Kitchen of Lansing. Afternoon snacks will be provided courtesy of Westwind Milling and Almar Orchards. Thanks to our sponsors, we have been able to keep the cost low at $85 for MOFFA members and $115 for non-members.  The registration fee covers six hours of learning, lunch, breaks, all printed materials, and a great chance to network with fellow farmers and gardeners from across Michigan.  Parking is free at the Plant and Soil Sciences Building.  Scholarships are available; to apply please email your request for a scholarship to [log in to unmask].  January 2023 7 Space is limited and you are encouraged to register early.
