Dear AIB Colleagues,

The Newcastle University Business School is a world class research-intensive university located in the Northeast of England. We are seeking a passionate leader and researcher as a Professor/Reader of International Business who looks for opportunities to collaborate across management fields and disciplines. Your passion will come across in your teaching and support for the student experience at all levels as well as in your commitment to engaging with communities beyond the University. You will provide academic leadership within the Business School drawing on your track record of excellence in research, leadership, and academic citizenship.

You will be committed to the success and development of Newcastle University Business School. You will join a dynamic and vibrant Leadership, Work and Organisation Subject Group (LWO) and a Business School that is committed to collegiality and academic citizenship. You will complement the LWO Subject Group’s existing expertise in teaching and research in international business and strategic management and enhance research as part of our Strategy, International Business and Society (SIBS) research community (that includes researchers in strategy, international management, and responsible business).

The LWO Subject Group is a globally connected, locally rooted and compassionate community that embraces diversity and advances challenges of social justice through our research, scholarship, and engagement with partners, to achieve a lasting impact from our management education. We deliver teaching and learning of the highest quality and attract highly qualified students to our programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Business Management, International Business and Global Human Resource Management, as well as to our MBA, and attract high calibre PhD students through our world-leading research profile.

The Candidate Information Pack provides further information and applications should be made via this link. The closing date for applications is January 8, 2023, and formal interviews will be held 25-26 January.
