[The new faculty member will specialize in soil science teaching and research efforts, especially related to urban biogeochemistry. Candidates with expertise in one of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: urban soil carbon storage, nutrient
recycling and losses in urban ecosystems, urban soil contaminants (bioavailability and transfer) and remediation, managing urban soils for food production, soils and waste management in urban areas, and/or enhancing awareness about the importance of urban
