Agriculture Education Classes offered by MSU and MDARD
When you see the pesticide classes do you say?, “Well I do not need to be a certified applicator.” But I am sure that you are concerned for safety and care of pollinators, so this is your chance
to gain a bit more understanding how to reduce harm to pollinators when applying organic pesticides as they are typically broad spectrum, as they impact more than one type of insect. This is your chance to increase your knowledge of pesticide safety when it
comes to caring for our VERY IMPORTANT pollinator insects. Please take this seriously as we are losing our pollinators at a too fast rate, often due to misapplication of pesticides and we are dependent on them.
