On November 8, we will once again organize the international Delta Trends Day at the University of Tartu (Estonia), the theme of which this time is “The New Economic World Order”.

The US-China struggle for world leadership has intensified over the past twenty years. The economic engine of this struggle has been the globalisation of the world economy, which has created global value chains. The key question now is how the confrontation between the United States and China in the fight for the role of the hegemon of the world economy will affect the functioning of the world economy. The current one-hegemonic regime can be replaced by two or more hegemonic regimes. On this event we discuss how is the confrontation developing and what are its implications? Estonia’s interests are affected by the position of the European Union in the further division of the world economy.

Experts in their field share their ideas and thoughts about what the future economy in the world, in Europe and in Estonia could look like.
