1:00 – 2:00 Welcome and Panel discussion on key issues for REF impact case studies (ICS) and developing ICS

• Robert Blackburn (Chair, REF UOA17 Panel) – overview of the REF assessment process with an emphasis on how ICS were handled
• Terry Warren (REF UOA17 Panel impact assessor) – examples of characteristics that he considered important for high-quality ICS
