welcome esteemed alumni back to speak to our community about the convergence of corporate citizenship, strategy, and ethical leadership.
Todd Penegor (B.A. Accounting ’87, MBA ’89), President and CEO of Wendy’s, will be the featured
executive speaker at the 2022 Warrington Lecture. Penegor will join Interim Dean Judith Whipple in a “fireside chat” and Q&A.

The Hospitality and Lodging Club provides a unique opportunity to experience first-hand
and learn about hospitality outside of the classroom. We will focus broadly on the hospitality industry, often placing a focus on the lodging segment, its current trends, and hotels/resorts that are on the rise. Join us for meetings with industry professionals,
hotel site tours, hotel hotspots, and food!

Spartan Business Golf Club
Dewitt Golf Center Site Tour
When: Sunday October 2 at 1 -3 PM we are going
to Tour Dewitt Golf Center. Please arrive before 12:50 PM as the tour will start promptly at 1pm
What: We will get the tour of the facility,
go in detail within the department, within the service and business perspective of their operation
The cost for a basket of balls is $6 ( 40-50 Balls), $9 (70-75 balls) and $12 (100-115 balls) Students will buy their own range of balls.
Adventure (putt-putt) golf $7.00
Bring: Golf Clubs, golf shoes, golf glove, etc. Golf clubs will be available for students without clubs, provided by Instructor Brintnall.
Wear: Business golf attire. No workout clothes or gym clothes. Contact Instructor Brintnall ([log in to unmask]) for
questions regarding appropriate attire. We will be outside so dressed for the weather. Wear several light layers if the temperature is cool and bring rain gear if the weather dictates

Real Estate Investment Club
REIC is a student run organization which promotes and supports the Real Estate Specialization
within The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. REIC aim's to bring together students who share a common interest in real estate. The organization offers networking opportunities with industry leaders, site tours, and educational workshops.
This group provides a network for existing members, prospective members, and those interested in following our progress.

NSMH is the premier professional organization for minority hospitality students. We address diversity and multiculturalism,
as well as the career development of our student members. We feel that these lessons are important to the future leaders of this industry. We provide events and programs that bring together students with company sponsors, industry representatives, hospitality
organizations, advisors, mentors, and hospitality high school students. NSMH aims to be a total resource center for the industry to find dynamic talent as well as for students to find qualified answers to relevant questions and have a window to the industry
that awaits them!
