Description  

The International Business and Strategy (IB&S) Group at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business (DMSB) invites applicants for multiple tenured or tenure-track positions at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor). We are specifically seeking applicants with research and teaching expertise in any of the following broad areas: (1) Sustainability and Resilience, including global sustainability, the future of work, sustainable finance and investing, and ESG reporting; and (2) Food, Water, and Energy Security, including global supply chain sustainability and global entrepreneurship. Joint appointments and/or affiliations with other colleges and institutes at Northeastern University are encouraged and will be considered as appropriate. Positions will primarily be on the Boston campus but may be available at any of our 14 global campus locations.    

The IB&S Group consists of twenty faculty with a strong reputation in international business and strategy. The faculty come from a diverse set of disciplines, including economics, history, management, psychology, and sociology. Their research focuses on firms’ strategies in international contexts, including emerging markets, and on aspects of global leadership. The IB&S group was ranked #1 in publications in top international business journals by the Texas Dallas ranking. Members of the group are Fellows of the Academy of Human Resources, Academy of International Business, Academy of Management, Association for Psychological Science, the National Academy of Human Resources, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Strategic Management Society, and serve as Editors, Associate Editors, and belong to the Editorial Review Boards of leading management journals. The group houses the Center for Emerging Markets, which provides research support and opportunities to connect with leading executives and policymakers. Qualifications  

Candidates interested in conducting high-impact research programs and teaching excellence in the broad areas above are encouraged to apply. Candidates must hold a doctorate in international business, management, or a related field by the appointment start date.
