DLZ Michigan, Inc. is seeking candidates for an Intern position in our Lansing or Detroit, Michigan office.



Job Duties:

  *   Ecological and wetland investigations
  *   Field and desktop data collection
  *   Report writing
  *   Various field and office tasks related to planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture



 Qualifications & Skills:

  *   Recently completed or enrolled in a degree program for environmental sciences, fisheries & wildlife, geography, or other relevant major
  *   Ability to identify fish, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals
  *   Ability to identify a wide variety of plants and trees
  *   Willingness & ability to quickly learn new tasks and procedures/critical thinking
  *   Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  *   Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  *   Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  *   Ability to self-motivate and work productively with limited supervision
  *   Working knowledge of software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ArcGIS



This position will be flexible on a part-time basis during the 2022/2023 academic year.


Pay - Hourly rates starting between $15 – $22 depending on experience.
