The Enhanced Digital Learning Initiative (EDLI) at Michigan State University is hiring three fixed term research associates. Successful candidates for each of these 2-year positions will work with the EDLI team and its collaborators to conduct educational research and evaluation on digital learning initiatives.

You will join a diverse team of professionals dedicated to studying digital learning, educational innovation, and addressing challenges in the 21st century classroom and beyond.

This is a full-time, 12-month position with an appointment period of 2 years that reports to the EDLI Co-Director team. Successful candidates will work with the cross-disciplinary core EDLI team, consisting of members of the College of Arts & Letters, College of Natural Science, Broad College of Business, MSU Information Technology, and MSU Libraries. They will work with the team to conduct research within EDLI's focal research areas, and to support and promote EDLI’s work on the MSU campus and beyond. Example focal research areas include (but are not limited to) augmented/virtual/mixed reality, multimodal/hyflex teaching and learning, microcredentialing, course objective mapping, ethical use of artificial intelligence in learning contexts, and promoting student success in large classrooms.
