RAE seeks to increase the diversity of its editorial board, to achieve its strategic objective of publishing research with scholarly, managerial and/or societal impact.

Our vision for RAE in 2030 is of an international community that: 

·  Stimulates the connection between academia and organizations 

·  Points out new themes and research paths, and  

·  Contributes for solutions to issues that affect organizations and the society. 




The new editorial board shall comprise a diversified pool in terms of nationalities, gender, areas of expertise, and command of research methods. 


Each associate editor is expected to receive around 10 articles per year, for which s/he should run a desk review and, if deemed appropriate, indicate three expert reviewers.

o One of the most prestigious journals published in Latin America. 

o Ranked as level 1 in AJG ABS, with an impact factor of 1.100 in the JCR, and Citescore/Scopus 1.4. 

o More than 800 submissions per year from all continents. 

o Acceptance rate of 9%. 

o Welcomes rigorous conceptual and empirical research in business management - both theory- and phenomenon-based. 

o Open to diverse paradigms and research methods.  

o Focus on emerging markets, while open to other contexts. 

o Submissions in English, Portuguese or Spanish; accepted articles are published in English and also either in Portuguese or Spanish. 

o ScholarOne editorial system. 

o Listed in AJG/ABS, Web of Science (JCR), Scopus, DOAJ, Redalyc, SciELO, Redib, Ebsco, ProQuest, Gale Cengage Learning, Cabells, and over other 30 indexers and databases of scientific journals.

Jorge Carneiro
Associate Professor of Strategy and International Business at FGV EAESP Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (triple-accredited business school). Carneiro currently serves as Chair of AIB-LAC (Academy of International Business, Latin America and the Caribbean chapter) and has served on the board of several academic associations (e.g., EIBA – European Business Academy, BALAS – Business Association of Latin American Studies, ANPAD – the Brazilian Academy of Management). Carneiro also serves on the editorial boards of IBR – International Business ReviewMBR – Multinational Business Review, and Management Research.
