The purpose of this PDW:
This PDW provides scholars with developmental feedback on their papers intended to submit to the special issue on "Blockchain in International Business – Embracing the Socio-Technical Transformation." The PDW aims to provide instrumental advice on how to enhance the quality of the paper for a successful submission to the journal by 15 February, 2023. The papers submitted to this PDW are expected to be of full length and comply with the European Journal of International Management formatting guidelines.

About the special issue:
The special issue invites contributions on various themes all relating to how blockchain is changing the nature and theory of International Business (IB). Suitable topics include, but are not limited, to: blockchain potential to develop or adjust IB theory; IB strategies and blockchain; managing internationally via blockchain; designing international firms with blockchain; applications of blockchain in IB; blockchain and social and economic sustainability issues; blockchain in global value chain governance. The special issue provides an opportunity for scholars from different academic disciplines and sub-disciplines around the IB to submit their work. Conceptual papers, as well as qualitative and quantitative studies are welcome. Studies are expected to go beyond descriptions or case-based observations on blockchain. Work that adopts a critical lens and engages in IB theory development or enhancement, is favorably anticipated. What should I do if my paper is accepted?
By submitting a paper, at least one of the paper’s authors commits to participate in the PDW if the application is accepted. Accepted participants must register for the EIBA 2022 conference<https://www.bi.edu/about-bi/events/2022/december/eiba-2022/submissions/> in order to attend this PDW.
