University College Cork (UCC) is a research intensive, student-centric and future-focused university.  UCC wishes to appoint two Lecturers in Human Resource Management to the Department of Management and Marketing, Cork University Business School (CUBS). Double accredited by AMBA and AACSB and a member of PRME, CUBS is in the top 5% of business schools globally and one of Ireland’s largest business schools with almost 4,000 students and over 180 staff.

Applications are invited from those with the ambition and skills to undertake and produce high-quality, impactful research, and contribute to our educational offerings in human resource management and employment relations. We are especially interested in receiving applications amongst those undertaking research on the future of work, technologization of work, the changing nature of employment relations, global HRM, sustainable HRM and decent work. Applicants with a desire to play a proactive role in furthering the reputation of the Human Resource Research Centre (HRRC) and on our academic programmes are especially welcome.

These posts will complement and add to our existing expertise in the Human Resource Research Centre (HRRC) which for the past two years has received the UCC College of Business and Law Research Team of the Year Award. Faculty are increasingly recognised at a national and international level as evidenced by publications in the leading international journals (e.g. Human Resource Management Journal, Human Relations, British Journal of Management, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Review), holding of editorial roles, membership of editorial advisory boards, attraction of research income and development of PhD scholars.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale: Below the Bar €35,600 - €62,604 (Scale B) / Above the Bar €68,421 - €88,609 (Scale B).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
