Announcement of Faculty Position

 

 

1.     Status: Tenured or tenure-track faculty

2.     Field: International Business

3.     Recruitment method: Open recruitment

4.     Type of employment: Full-time

Specific terms of employment will depend on the employment status (see 7. below)

5.     Date of Employment: April 1, 2023, September 1, 2023, April 1, 2024, or September 1, 2024

6.     Qualifications: Applicants must meet all of the criteria specified in (1) - (5). In addition, applicants for the tenured faculty position whose native language is not Japanese should have a sufficient command of the Japanese language to execute their administrative duties.

(1)   Academic qualifications: Ph.D. in a related field. (In the case of Ph.D. candidates, Ph.D. must be awarded by the date of employment)

(2)   Teaching experience: Preferably have a record of teaching experiences at the tertiary level.

(3)   Research achievements: Should have publications in internationally reputed peer-reviewed journals (this does not apply to those who have obtained a Ph.D. within the last two years or will obtain it within one year)

(4)   Teaching: Ability to teach lectures and seminars in English.

(5)   Additional requirements: The ability to teach an undergraduate course on basic management in addition to courses related to international business is preferred
