The Management and Organizations Department at Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University Maryland,  is seeking candidates conducting research focused on sustainability issues within organizations in an international context. The ideal candidate must have experience or potential to teach courses in the areas of sustainability and international business. The candidate will be expected to teach courses in the graduate and undergraduate programs and in multiple modalities (face to face, online synchronous, online asynchronous). The course load is 3/3 per academic year after a reduced course load in the first two years. Candidates are expected to publish high quality research in management related journals and in relevant fields. Service to the department, School and University is also required.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a doctorate (or be ABD) in sustainability or a related field from an AACSB-accredited school of deemed equivalent.
• Candidates must have expertise in the areas of sustainability management, international business, or management-related discipline.
• Candidates must be considered Scholarly Academic (SA) by having at least two peer-reviewed articles in addition to other intellectual contributions in a five year period as defined by our AACSB guidelines (ABD status or an earned doctorate within the past five years also constitutes SA status).
• Quality publications or potential to publish in areas related to sustainability management, international business, or management-related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with online instructional delivery (both synchronous and asynchronous formats).
• An appreciation of the importance of diversity and economic inclusion in organizations and society.
• Candidates should have an awareness of, and interest in, high-impact teaching practices in line with the mission of Jesuit higher education.
• Candidates should be dedicated to Loyola University Maryland’s vision, mission, and values, which include an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
