Dear Colleagues, Please find below the link to a Call for Papers for a special issue of Transnational Corporations on international knowledge sourcing by transnational companies in services. Editors are Tamar Almor, Marina Papanastassiou, Ana Teresa Tavares-Lehmann, and myself. Empirical evidence suggests that service industries gained a prominent role in international knowledge sourcing in recent years. Digital MNEs - e.g. Alphabet, Microsoft and Facebook - today are among the largest R&D performers globally but also firms in traditional service industries have increased innovation and R&D activities abroad in recent years.
