Do you know of an exceptional doctoral student who is aligning his/her research with the Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM)  Principles of Responsible Research?

 

The  RRBM are pleased to announce two upcoming information sessions regarding the 2023 RRBM Dare to Care Dissertation Scholars Award, and the related Philosophical Foundations of Responsible Research doctoral course. Award winners receive financial support in the form of a scholarship of up to $10,000 as well as intellectual support from among the community of RRBM scholars, according to need. 

 

Dare to Care Scholars Award Information Sessions:

Doctoral students who are prospective applicants to the RRBM Dare to Care Dissertation Scholars Award are encouraged to join one of two information sessions listed below. Both sessions will address the award application and selection process, and also allow time for questions from potential applicants. 

 

Philosophical Foundations of Responsible Research Course Information Sessions:

Prospective Applicants are encouraged to consider participating in this year’s Philosophical Foundations of Responsible Research doctoral course.  The course will be offered virtually to two cohorts in the second half of 2022. Then join us at one of the two information sessions noted below and send in your application to participate by June 3, 2022.

 

 


About the RRBM Dare to Care Dissertation Scholars Award:

Up to ten scholarships of up to $10,000 USD each will be awarded to doctoral students in business schools who are conducting dissertation research aligned with the RRBM Principles of Responsible Research. Eligible research topics will focus on economic inequality, racial, gender or other forms of social justice in organizations, thereby contributing to meeting one or more of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. 

 

Applications will be accepted beginning November 1, 2022 through November 30, 2022. Award decisions will be announced March 1, 2023. 

 

The eligible applicant is a doctoral candidate at the beginning stage of the dissertation research; is studying in a business school in any of the disciplines as long as the research falls within the domain described above; and is familiar with the RRBM Principles of Responsible Research.
