The International Management (IM) Division is offering a Doctoral Student Consortium (DSC) at this year’s Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management on Sunday, August 7, 2022. The Consortium will be a full day in-person event. In addition, the IM Division is offering each PhD student who has been admitted to the DSC a stipend, covering their AoM conference registration fee. Places in the DSC are limited; the deadline to apply is June 3. This is an excellent opportunity to receive valuable feedback on your work, as well as a chance to network and get to know your fellow doctoral students and leading scholars in the International Management field.

The Consortium offers structured and informal discussion between participants and faculty panelists on research, job opportunities, and early-stage career strategies. A substantial amount of time is also set-aside for dissertation development, featuring one-on-one feedback from faculty in small groups. Participants will also be invited to a “Meet-the-Editors” session later on the same day.
We welcome participants from all stages of the PhD program. You can also contact the DSC Co-Chairs should you have any questions. We will inform all applicants about their admission to the DSC by June 10, 2022. Your application should include the following:

  *   1-page nomination letter from your advisor/chair;
  *   A description of your dissertation idea, including your research question, relevant literature, research design, and methods (Maximum 2 pages); and
  *   Curriculum Vitae, including relevant contact information (Maximum 2 pages)
