What is the Purpose of This Workshop?
This PDW is developed by AIB Teaching & Education Shared Interest Group. Its purpose is to provide an overview of the variety of digital platforms, that are available to
AIB members through the T&E SIG’s website. In this high impact pre-conference workshop designed for faculty teaching international business courses, participants will be presented with the most useful digital platforms to enrich their teaching. Workshop attendees
will get a hands-on experience with Chatam House’s Data Visualization, globalEdge Country Comparator, Human Development Index, Hofstede Cultural Dimensions country comparison tool, ISSUE Project materials, Solarpunk storytelling, and sociodrama role play,
Heritage Index of Economic Freedom, and many others. This PDW is designed to share the most useful digital tools instrumental in IB teaching and provide inspiration for IB educators looking to enrich the traditional classroom experience. Teaching materials
and resources will be provided to participants.

Who is This Workshop For?
This workshop is targeted at IB scholars at all stages of their careers (including PhD students) who teach International Business. The available digital platforms will
be instrumental in enriching classroom experience in a variety of courses, and include, but are not limited to topics such as International Business, International Management, Business Strategy, Emerging Markets, Sustainability, and Globalization.

How is This Event Structured?
The 180-minute workshop is structured as follows:

The Chairs will open the workshop (5 min)

Three presentations will overview a variety of digital platforms for different IB topics (30 min each)

Each presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A session (15 min)

Coffee Break (20 min)

Roundtable discussions will follow, during which participants will be grouped with panelists and T&E SIG’s members to discuss their teaching ideas and use of digital platforms
based on their teaching interests (60 min)

How Can I Register for this Workshop?
Pre-registration for
this workshop is required by 15 May 2022. All participants are expected to have valid AIB membership and to have registered for the AIB 2022 Conference.
