This individual will work with National and Regional NWRS staff as well as other Service staff, Federal and non-Federal agencies, universities, and other institutions to facilitate partnerships, collaboration, and information sharing in natural resource management. The activities of this position include the application of spatial and non-spatial data management technologies to support environmental (e.g., species, habitat), physical (e.g., geology, hydrology), and administrative (e.g., ownership, zoning, reserves) information to complete scientific analyses in support of inventory and monitoring efforts. The data manager will work with staff to design, develop, coordinate, and administer data management processes developed for use by refuges.
