Stockholm School of Economics is recruiting a new Ph.D. student

The Department of Marketing and Strategy, Stockholm School of Economics, Stockholm, Sweden, invites applicants for a full-time Ph.D. position in Business Strategy. The successful applicant will be a part of a research team within the department and will be working on a project called “Innovating New Sustainable Business Models”. The project is taking place at the intersection of Strategy, Sustainability, and Entrepreneurship. Starting date for this position is September 1, 2022.


Application Details: The deadline for applications is May 31, 5.00 pm Swedish Standard Time. Initial interviews will be conducted via Zoom. As interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, we urge those interested to send in their applications as soon as possible.

Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, at least two letters of recommendation, one (1) copy of your most advanced thesis/essay within Business Administration, and any supplemental materials the candidate may deem relevant.



The ideal applicant has a strong academic record and/or professional background. The ideal applicant has a strong interest in strategy, is initiative-taking, is good at managing projects, has strong analytical and writing skills, and is fluent in English.
