The Economic and Business Future of the LAC region: A Personal Viewpoint
In this talk, Eduardo will be speaking about this experience
working at the World Bank Group (WBG) where most of his work was located in
Latin America. He will also be discussing his personal viewpoint on the
current and future economic and business situation in the LAC area.
About the speakers: Eduardo Wallentin is an International Development Executive and Latin American (LAC) Development Strategist with more than 30 years of experience. At the World Bank he was Senior Country Officer for the Andean Countries and later Senior Manager of Strategy for the LAC Region at IFC. He was part of the Mexican Government DC-based team that negotiated the NAFTA agreement and previously worked at the Presidency of Mexico. Today he is a consultant with the WBG's Internal Evaluation Group focussing on validation of country strategies as well as other entities.
Maria Alejandra Gonzalez-Perez is Full Professor of Management at Universidad EAFIT, Colombia. She is the country representative for AIB-LAC in Colombia. She is a prolific researcher on ESG matters.
