Mid-Michigan Ponds is hiring 1 full time seasonal Pond Management Technician. We provide pond and lake management services in the greater Lansing and surrounding areas. Dates of employment are late April/May to August/September. Dates could easily be extended if the applicant has availability. Duties include assisting pesticide applicator in field work, posting treatment notifications along shoreline areas, driving/loading/unloading work vehicles, boats and equipment, installation of aeration systems and fountains, and assorted other duties. Experience in backing a trailer and some small motor repair is beneficial, but not required. This is a great summer job for those who enjoy being outdoors and want to learn more about managing aquatic plants in lakes and ponds. This could also lead to a long-term career opportunity as pond and lake manager/biologist. Pay range is $15-20 per hour depending on qualifications.
