The Grassroots Organizing Fellow will lead training and technical assistance on community organizing and support relationship-building in local food council and food policy projects.

The Center for Regional Food Systems (CRFS) at Michigan State University (MSU) is seeking a full-time, fixed-term Grassroots Organizing Fellow.

We are looking for a relationship-driven, resourceful, and self-motivated candidate to bring creative vision and add capacity to support and shape local food council and food policy work in Michigan.

This person will work with two initiatives: the Michigan Local Food Council Network<https://www.canr.msu.edu/local_food_council_network/index?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=crfs_job> (MLFCN) and the Michigan Good Food Charter<https://www.canr.msu.edu/michiganfood/index?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=crfs_job> (Charter). The ideal candidate will have at least five years of community organizing and partnership/coalition development experience in a professional or volunteer setting and demonstrated experience working with multicultural and diverse populations.
