Participation is possible online or in presence (Bamberg/Germany) – for selected sessions of your choice or the whole conference. The 2nd International Conference on Self-Initiated Expatriation, organised by the University of Bamberg, will take place in Bamberg, Germany, from the 11th to the 12th of April 2022. As a follow-up to the 1st Conference on Self-Initiated Expatriation in Toulouse, this two-day event will address the careers of Self-Initiated Expatriates/Migrants, as well as the value these globally mobile individuals bring to companies and, more broadly, to host-country economies and societies.

We are delighted to announce our plenary keynote speakers:

§ Frédéric Docquier – Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research.

§ Hugh Gunz – University of Toronto Mississauga.

§ Mila Lazarova – Simon Fraser University.
