Dear all,

Our department is looking for a scholar-practitioner of agroecology, especially someone who can balance careful attention to agroecology as a science, movement, practice, and realm of grassroots knowledge and action. Because we draw on your work in our teaching and research, I hoped you'd be able to spread the word among your networks. Please note that review of applications begins March 25 but late applications will be evaluated.

The Goodnight Family Sustainable Development Department at Appalachian State University is hiring an Assistant Professor focused on agroecology. We seek a dynamic teacher and scholar whose work addresses the intersection of ecological agriculture, biodiversity conservation, social justice, and community development. The Assistant Professor will teach three courses per semester.

Please see https://appstate.peopleadmin.com/postings/32566 for details; contact Search Committee Chair Dr. Anne Fanatico ([log in to unmask]) with any questions. Review of applications will begin on March 25, 2022.

This is a full-time, tenure track position, beginning August 2022.

Thanks!
