Dr.
Anne Elise Stratton is an agricultural ecologist and Postdoctoral Researcher in the Environmental Geography Department at the Institute for Environmental Studies. As an interdisciplinary scholar, she integrates methods from the ecological and social sciences
to evaluate impacts of agricultural management on ecosystem functions and nutritional outcomes. Her current research assesses the potential to enhance food system sustainability through increased production and consumption of diverse legume crops across Europe.
Anne Elise earned a PhD in Agroecology from the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI, USA) and a BS in Biology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University (Medford,
MA, USA). Her work aims to inform transitions to sustainable agriculture and food systems through policy and practice at local, regional, and global scales.
