CEIBS Invites Applications for Three (3) Faculty Positions in Strategy and Entrepreneurship

The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) invites applications for the following faculty positions with its Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship:

1.      One position in Strategy (Associate or Full) – including International Business

2.      One position in Strategy (Open Rank) – including International Business

3.      One position in Entrepreneurship (Open Rank)

Successful applicants are expected to be interested in the Chinese business context, teach related courses for MBA and EMBA students, executive education programme participants, and be active in scholarly activities. Experience in teaching executive programmes and programme directorship is highly valued.

Ideal candidates must hold a PhD (or equivalent degree) in a related field, have a demonstrated capacity for high-calibre research, and have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Preference will be given to those with relevant teaching experience with MBA and executive students.

Faculty compensation is benchmarked against top US business schools and commensurate with qualifications. In addition to a base salary, the school provides its faculty with an adequate housing allowance, an education allowance for international schooling of faculty’s children, private medical insurance, and a private pension plan. In addition, the school offers generous research funding, teaching load reduction/bonuses for high-calibre research outcomes, and a reduced teaching load for the first three years for Assistant Professors and above. CEIBS’ working language is English, and the school offers flexibility for faculty members to be based in their preferred locations in China (e.g., Shanghai, Beijing, or Shenzhen).
