One position will focus on monitoring piping plovers along the Lake Michigan shoreline, and a second position will focus on monitoring rare turtles (Eastern box turtle and spotted turtle). We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a passion for conservation, and who are comfortable working alone in remote areas. These are 12-week positions hired through the Student Conservation Association, with a start date of April 25, 2022. Review of applications will begin on January 17 and will continue until positions are filled. Compensation includes a $125 weekly living allowance, $1100 travel allowance, free on-site housing, and AmeriCorps Education award upon completion of the position.
