Are you looking to give back to your community and make a difference? We are recruiting a part time district manager to serve Ontonagon County in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The District Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Ontonagon Conservation District including organization and supervision of office operations, coordinating District programs and activities, and aiding the District Board of Directors. This position provides a variety of leadership, grant writing support, accounting, bookkeeping, data collection, and administrative support through an array of general and specialized duties to support operations and meet the needs of the organization. You will gain experience in: program development and delivery; community and volunteer engagement, communications, and coordination; verbal/written communications; customer service; record keeping; and data entry. This part-time position shall pay $17/hour (DOE) not to exceed 780 hours by the end of the fiscal year with an anticipated start date in early January.
