Assistant Professor, Environmental Science Education or Geological Science Education, California State University, Chico

The Department Science Education invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Environmental Science Education or Geological Science Education. The ideal candidate will share Chico State’s demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, have prior experience working with culturally and socio-economically diverse populations. The University proudly holds the Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) designation, and enrolls over 17,000 students, over half of whom identify as first-generation college students. The minimum education requirement is a terminal degree in Science Education with a Master’s in Environmental Science or Geological Sciences or related area such as Ph.D. in Environmental Science or Geological Sciences with an emphasis in science education research.
