It will be housed at Central Michigan University and work under the guidance of a NRCS Liaison as well as the steering committee made up of representatives from the Chippewa River Watershed Alliance (CRWA) . The CRWA is a group of representatives from government and non-government agencies and local businesses to collaborate on projects towards managing the Chippewa River in Isabella and surrounding counties. The position is funded by a program through the US Army Core. The Chippewa River Watershed Management Plan and project will be the first of its kind as it will include the whole watershed, multiple counties and representation from a myriad of agencies as the CRWA will serve as the steering committee. The NRCS has hired an outside group to handle the hiring process. Below is a link to apply.
