Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased and honored to invite you all to the 49th Annual Conference of
ABSEL. This is a very special year for ABSEL as we are planning to meet in
person for the first time since the pandemic forced us to go virtual in
2020.

Given the increasing role and emphasis on experiential learning in business
education, what we have been doing here at ABSEL for almost the past half a
century is and continues to be relevant into the future for business and
management scholars, educators and practitioners. ABSEL is a small but very
vibrant organization with members from across the globe. ABSEL provides a
collegial environment where you can present your research and keep abreast
of latest innovations and developments in experience based learning
approaches; it is an association where significant networking occurs and
friendships are made for a lifetime. Conference participants have
frequently stated that they enjoyed the close and personalized nature of
ABSEL conferences.

With an all inclusive price which includes access to 48 years of research
publications from ABSEL’s conferences, a 1 year membership to ABSEL and all
meals/events covered during the conference the value of the ABSEL
conference is hard to beat. Participating and sharing work and ideas at
ABSEL 2022 will also be attractive to early career educators and
researchers, or doctoral students in advanced stages of their programs, to
build networks and present scholarly work to a supportive and nurturing
audience.

It is with this spirit that everyone on the ABSEL Board invites you to the
49th Annual Conference at Pittsburgh, PA. The ABSEL 2022 Call for Papers
can be found by clicking here <https://absel.org/absel-2022-call/>or
downloading the attachment to this email. All submissions - competitive
papers, short and extended abstracts can be submitted virtually at
https://absel.org/absel-2022-submission/. ABSEL also runs a Pre-Conference
Workshop and the first ever Poster Session on March 30. The call for
Workshop/Poster proposals can be found here

ABSEL 2022 conference theme - Transformative Education During Times of
Disruption - are strongly encouraged. You may find additional information
