The International Business, Marketing and Branding (IBMB) research center within the School of Management at University of Bradford is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic academic at the Lecturer/Assistant Professor level specialising
in the field of International Business and/or Strategic Management. The IBMB research center manages a range of international business related programmes, e.g. BSc in International Business and Management, MSc International Business and Management, MSc Management,
MSc International Strategic Marketing, MSc Management. These programmes are co-designed with input from leading industry professionals and key partners and accredited by professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Association
of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). We are looking to strengthen teaching and research capability in the field of International Business and Strategic Management by recruiting a skilled academic staff who can play a leading role in contributing to this
ambition.
The ideal candidate must possess a Doctorate in a relevant field and have a research track record at 3* or 4* CABS journal level and publish in leading international business/strategy journals. The candidate will be expected to lead and
contribute to the development and direction contribute to the development and direction of the International Business and Strategic Management area focusing on developing research as well as teaching materials in this field and any other similar topics. At
Assistant Professor level, the candidate will need to demonstrate Programme Leadership experience and be expected to work closely with established partners and professional accreditation bodies such as the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute of
Export and International Trade to support the enhancement of curriculum. The successful candidate will need to contribute to digital learning teaching and should evidence business and community engagement activities with local and international business/organisations.
This role will be offered at grade 8 (Lecturer) or 9 (Assistant Professor) dependent on experience.
