This position will lead the work to implement the initiative, including growing the network of organizations, agricultural service providers, and individuals participating in the work; guiding the training and work of four regional land access navigators; assisting with the transition of illinoisfarmlink.org to a statewide resource for farmers, landowners, and agriculture service providers; and leading the development of strong land access and transfer education programs to aid farmers and landowners throughout the state. The successful candidate will shape the evolution of the Illinois Farmland Access Initiative.

  3. The Central Illinois Farm-Fresh Enterprise Development Cooperative (FarmFED Co-op) in Mt. Pulaski, Illinois, seeks to hire its first full-time manager. The FarmFED Co-op manager is responsible for the exciting work of helping build this enterprise from the ground up. They will work with the FarmFED board of directors, local stakeholders, and owner-members in executing the Co-op’s mission and vision through management of projects related to:
    + The physical build-out of the co-op’s fresh food processing facility
    + Recordkeeping and budgeting systems creation
    + Farmer and community relations
    + Developing the cooperative’s key staff and collaborators
