Responsibilities:

The position involves a landscape approach that may include evaluating the flow of water and constituents through various habitats within a watershed or the interaction of habitats or patches within the landscape mosaic.

Applies expertise to the Lower Mississippi River Basin Long Term Agroecosystem Research (LTAR) network and the Conservation Effects Assessment Project (CEAP).

Conceives, plans, directs and conducts research contributing to unit goals and objectives in support of ARS National Programs 211 - Water Availability and Watershed Management, and 216 - Sustainable Agricultural Systems Research.
