Please advertise the attached position and description below.
IN WS is hiring 2 BSTs to assist with wild pig removal and monitoring based out of our Mitchell office. Duties are mostly focused on wild pig management, but may also assist with other projects in the vicinity of the duty station, including: black vulture conflict management, pest birds management at industrial facilities, and urban deer removals. Mitchell is located in southcentral Indiana where rolling hills and agriculture intersperse the landscape. Both Louisville, KY and Bloomington, IN (the home to that other school in Indiana) are approximately 1 hour away. The unglaciated region is home to the Hoosier National Forest, several state forests, and countless state parks and nature preserves. Recreational abundance and diversity is arguably the best in the state and climate is typical Midwest. Public land hunting and fishing opportunities are around every corner, and local small towns host a variety of festivals throughout the year.
