Dear friends and colleagues,

We are delighted to share some great news on Global Strategy Journal (GSJ).

The Academic Journal Guide released its 2021 journal ratings. GSJ is now a level 4 journal!

The Journal Citation Report also released its new analyses for 2021. The impact factor for GSJ increased to 7.571, and the journal is in Q1. It is ranked 30 among management journals. The comparison with other international business and strategy journals appears below.

Three new associate editors are joining the editorial team: Rene Belderbos of  KU Leuven in Belgium, who studies innovation strategies and international business strategies of multinational firms; Rian Drogendijk of the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, who analyzes internationalization processes and cross-cultural management, and Sergio Lazzarini of Insper in Brazil, who studies the impact of emerging market contexts on strategy, public-private interaction dynamics, and impact investing.

In February we published a special issue on digitalization and global strategy (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/toc/20425805/2021/11/1), and in December we will publish a special issue on institutions and entrepreneurship; some of the accepted papers appear at https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/toc/20425805/0/0.

Thank you for making GSJ the top journal at the intersection of strategy and international business. We look forward to receiving your best work.

 Best wishes,

Gabriel R. G. Benito, Alvaro Cuervo-Cazurra, and Ram Mudambi
