Hi Kara,

Science Gallery Detroit will be opening its next exhibition, Tracked & Traced, this fall at the MSU Museum (September 11-December 10). In support of the exhibition will be approximately 12 public programs. Five programs will be virtual and synchronous (basically, panel discussions). Additionally, we will be hosting 3 workshops and 3 performances on campus. In fact, I just finished conducting site visits with our programming team.

Our plan it to (hopefully) program the 3 workshops, along with two additional exhibits, in the new STEM Building. I suspect the 3 performances will be in either Fairchild Theatre, Wells Hall, or the library. Based on conversations I've had with representatives from the Provost's Office, as well as representatives from these departments/buildings, it's not so much a question of if these programs will take place, but how (e.g. capacity and other requirements). I presume we'll hear more in the coming weeks.

I'm not sure if this is helpful information. I'm happy to chat one-on-one if you see fit.

On another note, I'd love to speak with you and your colleagues at the Biological Station about potential collaboration on a transdisciplinary artist residency program.

Subject: in-person programs?

Hi MSU Informal Learning Network!

How is everyone doing? I know that in-person programs and volunteer programs are being talked about (and the protocols seem to be coming from the college level) – I’d love to hear if each of your sites has any in-person programming and/or volunteering going on or planned?

What was the process for approval?

Thanks!!
