IM Division’s Eminent Scholar Webinar Speaker: Professor Bruce Kogut, Columbia University Theme: We Were Never Global, Just Microlevel: Extrapolations from Microfinance Institutions in India to World Financial Networks 10-11 a.m. Eastern Time, July 8th (Thu), 2021 The International Management (IM) Division of the Academy of Management launched the Eminent Scholar Webinar series by inviting recipients of the Eminent Scholar Award. Eminent Scholars share their insights on topics related to international management. The third speaker in the Eminent Scholar Webinar is Professor Bruce Kogut, the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Professor of Leadership and Ethics at Columbia Business School. He was the recipient of the IM Division Eminent Scholar Award in 2005. The theme of Professor Kogut’s webinar is ‘We Were Never Global, Just Microlevel: Extrapolations from Microfinance Institutions in India to World Financial Networks’.
