Professional Development Workshop   

at the 2021 AIB Conference (Virtual)

Roger Strange (IBR Editor-in-Chief) and Agnieszka Chidlow (IBR Senior Editor) will be running a Professional Development Workshop (PDW) aimed specifically at early career researchers and Ph.D students. The PDW will concentrate on four key issues: 

• What constitutes a “good” academic paper? 
• Good practice, and common pitfalls to avoid, when preparing the original submission to IBR  
• How to respond to the reviewers’ comments 
• How to make effective presentations at academic conferences
