In particular, Caribbean countries are experiencing a disproportionate decline in export-related business, rising unemployment levels, poverty, and inequality. The purpose of this special issue is to analyze the newly-emerged business dynamics, trends, and patterns in the Caribbean region, within the context of intra and extra-regional relationships that would allow decision-makers to design and implement post-pandemic business strategies. We invite theoretically sound and empirically-tested papers related to COVID-19 and businesses in the Caribbean region (defined as the Caribbean islands and continental countries with Caribbean coasts and islands).
