I hope this email finds you well! I plan on sending you an update around June (1 year in my job here Chicago District!) but this just came up in my email and I thought you might be interested.

It’s a summer internship (May to mid-September) doing field work on the Asian carp program here in Chicago. Considering the pay, I think it’s probably best for an undergraduate student. (that’s my opinion, but the chief said as long as they are enrolled as a post-secondary student) The application is due next week. Details are below and in the attachment.

To be transparent, I don’t work with our civil works group so I don’t really have a reason to pass this along. (Most of my day-to-day work is an entirely different section) But I know you work with a lot of students in natural resources who may be looking for a summer internship like this one.
