Applications are now being accepted for our Doctoral Student Stipends—successful applicants will receive a complimentary registration for AIB 2021!

These are highly sought-after awards, so you'll want to start working on your application quickly in order to beat the May 1 deadline.

Before you get started, here are a few tips to help your application process go smoothly: 

• Read the requirements carefully: Review the information on our Doctoral Student Stipends page to make sure you meet all of the eligibility criteria.
   
• Prepare your materials: Our stipend application form doesn't allow you to save your progress part-way through, so make sure you have all the required information prepared before you begin.
   
• Contact your advisor: Completing the application requires a letter of recommendation from your doctoral/dissertation advisor—let them know you'll need their help as soon as possible.

Once you have submitted your materials, please do not register for AIB 2021 until you have received a formal decision on your application. We expect to send decisions by May 20, 2021. The general registration deadline for accepted authors is also May 1, 2021, but this deadline will be waived for all stipend applicants. 

If you have already registered for AIB 2021 Online and you are awarded a stipend in May, the registration fee you already paid will be refunded.
